As QR code access systems become widespread, stability is the primary concern. Unreliable scanning and equipment failures disrupt daily operations and management. Therefore, we design our QR code access control equipment with one core principle: long-term, reliable use. Every device is built to perform flawlessly in real-world environments.

In the field of QR code access control systems, stability is the primary consideration for enterprises when selecting equipment, ensuring it operates without malfunctions the whole years. This is especially crucial in high-traffic areas such as office buildings and factory parks. Failures to recognize QR codes or malfunctions due to dampness can obstruct employee access and disrupt management.
QR code access control devices, Cyberoce has always regarded "stable operation" as the most basic and core requirement.
I .Why do QR code access control devices often malfunction on-site?
Many access control devices work perfectly when tested in factory labs. However, once installed in various application environments, they start to develop various issues, or even break down completely. The reason is simple: the field environment is far more complex than that in the laboratory.
Access control device is intended for long-term use in various outdoor, semi-outdoor, and even harsh environments; it's not meant to be placed in a temperature- and humidity-controlled office. In practical use, these problems frequently arise.
The electrical environment is complex on-site environments, with voltage frequently fluctuating. Especially in humidity and high temperatures regions, pose a significant challenge to electronic components. Frequent card swiping or QR code scanning can generate static electricity that interferes with equipment operation. Thunderstorms and electromagnetic interference can also affect the normal operation of lines and equipment. On-site wiring and aging lines are also common causes of malfunctions.
Because we know these points, we have insisted that QR code access control device must be designed and manufactured according to industrial product standards from the designed. This is the foundation for ensuring the long-term stable operation of our equipment.
II. Solid hardware is the foundation for stable equipment.
1. Wide voltage range, internationally certified
Our access control hardware supports DC 5V–25V input range, adapting to the voltage requirements of different countries and environments. This wide voltage range also reduces the risk of system crashes or damage caused by voltage fluctuations in areas with unstable power supplies.
2. Electrostatic Discharge Protection reduce interference.
In winter or dry weather, people are prone to static electricity when swiping cards. Cerberus uses a low-capacitance polymer ESD suppressor for high-speed signal lines such as Wi-Fi and RS485, dissipating static charge without interfering with signal integrity.
3. Short circuit and overcurrent protection
Connecting electric locks and door sensors on-site, incorrect wiring sometimes occurs. Our equipment has an added protection mechanism that automatically cuts off the circuit in case of a short circuit or excessive current in an external device, protecting the mainboard from damage.
4. Lightning and surge protection, suitable for outdoor installation.
To withstand lightning-induced surges, QR code access control devices used outdoors (e.g., at gates and parking areas) are equipped with protective circuits on both power and communication interfaces.
III. System Design for Long-Term Operation

Solid hardware is only the foundation; the system itself must also be prepared to operate 24/7.
1. We use industrial-grade components. The chips, capacitors, interfaces, etc., we select are all made of industrial-grade materials that are resistant to high temperatures and have a long lifespan, so that they can work for a long time without problems.
2. Thorough testing before leaving the factory: Before mass production, each product undergoes long-term continuous power-on testing, high and low temperature cycle testing, and repeated card-swiping testing to simulate real-world usage scenarios as much as possible and identify problems in advance.
Fourth, stability is the prerequisite for all functions.
Only when the equipment is stable can the various functions of the QR code access control system truly function effectively.
• QR code recognition without lag
• Permissions must be issued to take effect in real time.
• Passage records will not be lost
• Only when linked with turnstiles and elevator controls can they be reliable.
If the equipment keeps malfunctioning, all the functions are useless.
IV. Our understanding: Access control is a long-term investment.
In our view, access control equipment is an integral part of a building, a basic infrastructure used daily. Customers install access control systems hoping for stable operation for years to come, not frequent repairs or replacements. As a professional access control manufacturer, our design focus isn't on adding a few cool features, but on ensuring stable operation five or ten years from now. A good access control system is often imperceptible – it works silently, without disturbing people or causing disruptions. This is the kind of product we aim to create.
