This article introduces how a large Chinese food group uses the Cyberoce QR code access control system to manage its numerous warehouses in the whole country. Our core work involves deeply integrating access control equipment with the client's warehouse management system, thereby solving practical problems such as high manpower requirements, slow retrieval processes, and weak access control. Next, we will explain in detail as an access control manufacturer how Cyberoce helped the client build this efficient and practical QR code access control system through our technical solutions.
Our customer is a well- known domestic food group with thousands of food warehouses in China. The project was launched in early June 2025, and the customer is currently testing and promoting it within their nationwide. The customer's warehouse mainly presents the issues as below.
High Labor Costs: Whenever customers or drivers arrive for picking up the goods, a warehouse manager must personally accompany them throughout the whole process—guiding them and verifying their information. This will have significant manpower consumption.
Lower Operational Efficiency: Manual verification and guidance processes take longer times, slowing down the whole pickup process.
Inadequate Access Control: Previously, it was difficult to do strictly controls over which personnel could enter specific warehouse zones. Exactly entry and exit records were also lacking, creating potential risks to goods security.
Project Objective: The client's aims to install a new access control system that works with their existing inventory management software, allowing users to unlock the doors with QR codes and automatically saved who entered which warehouse at which time.
After detailed discussions, the customer selected the Cyberoce CR06EU model QR code access control device.
This device is highly reliable, recognizing QR codes fast, support secondary development, and can interact with customers' warehouse management systems, making it ideal for complex needs.
The CR06EU is a QR code access control all-in-one device with powerful data processing and recognition capabilities.
The CR06EU integrates a professional-grade global shutter scanner, featuring a wide-angle lens and strong resistance to wear and strong light, enabling it to accurately recognize all mainstream barcodes and QR codes on the market. This product's high-performance scanning capabilities greatly ensure that personnel can quickly complete identity verification and enter the warehouse in complex environments, effectively improving overall logistics efficiency.
To ensure stable communication between the access control device and the customer's inventory management software, the device provides various communication interfaces, including protocols such as HTTP\HTTPS\MQTT. This offers great flexibility and reliability for integration and data transmission.
Precise access control management: QR code access control devices quickly identify, verification, and unlock the doors by temporary QR code credentials generated on users' mobile phones, and save access records automatically. This provides complete digital evidence for warehouse compliance management and security traceability.
In addition to QR code recognition, the device also supports RFID card . Administrators can use card swiping for access, and it also can be expanded to customizable other access control needs for unified management in the future, providing convenience and a solid foundation.
The Cyberoce QR code access control system brings three major enhancements to customers.
Security Management: When a customer places an order through the software, an authorization temporary credential QR code is generated, ensuring that only authorized personnel can enter the designated warehouse, thus enhancing security.
Efficiency Improvement: Self-service scanning by pickup personnel greatly reduces reliance on administrators and waiting time.
Reduce Costs: Process automation reduces reliance on on-site warehouse managers, effectively lowering enterprise operating costs.
Project Process: How to do Cyberoce Connects with Client Software?
Professional technical support from Cyberoce, which enabled the access control hardware to connect seamlessly with the client's inventory management software.

Initial Contact and Equipment Selection |
The entire project began in early June 2025. The client wanted to reduce manpower and improve inventory management efficiency through a combination of hardware and software. The client's technical manager found us at Cyberoce partner's introduction. After initial discussions, it was confirmed that our CR06EU equipment perfectly met their demanding, so confirming the required product. |
|
Technology Integration and Customization |
To ensure the client's warehouse system could truly meet the core business requirement of "order-based authorization," we immediately began technical integration after confirming the solution. The Cyberoce technical team provided complete API documentation and an SDK toolkit with a clear interface structure and well-defined modules, covering key functions such as QR code generation, permission synchronization, and device control. Leveraging these open interfaces, the client's R&D team was able to directly embed access control logic into the warehouse management system, enabling QR code credentials to be automatically generated based on order status and synchronized to the corresponding access control devices within seconds. After multiple rounds of technical debugging, the entire system ultimately achieved a fully automated closed loop from order creation to permission issuance and on-site door opening, also validating the equipment 's technical capabilities in interface stability and system compatibility. |
|
On-site Testing and Nationwide Rollout Plan |
Through in-depth technical cooperation and multiple rounds of testing, the system initially met all the client's requirements. The client subsequently purchased several batches of equipment for on-site testing, verifying the system's practicality, stability, and reliability. Based on this successful initial validation, the client has included this solution in its future nationwide warehouse network upgrade plan, which is expected to be deployed on a large scale, replicating this successful solution in hundreds of its key warehouses across the country. |
From the project's results, integrating QR code access control devices have streamlined the client's warehouse management processes: authorization no longer relies on manual processes, entry and exit records are clearer, and tracking is easier. For us, this integration also validated the device's adaptability in multi-system(interconnected/integrated) scenarios.
The deployment and subsequent technical support of CR06EU are currently quite stable and can meet the daily management needs of the customer's warehouse. Going forward, with the improvement of the warehouse management system, the customer will successfully complete the digital upgrade of its group's warehouse management.
