If you are a hotel or rental property owner, we can provide a solution that uses temporary QR codes for door access. The specific plan is as follows:

I、How to Manage Your Hotel or Rental Property Using the QR Code Access Control Management System Software:

1.Open a web browser and enter the URL for Cyberoce's SAAS QR Code Access Control Cloud Management Platform, or use the installation package provided by our company for a private deployment. A test URL is available here: http://139.159.218.50:2020/#/. Please contact our sales representatives to obtain a test account and password.
2.After entering the URL, select your preferred language. You can switch the system language by clicking "简体中文" (Simplified Chinese) in the top right corner. We will use English as an example for this demonstration. Then, enter your username and password to log in.

3.When logging in for the first time, new users can click the icon in the top left corner to expand the navigation bar.

4.With the navigation bar displayed, select "Add User" (labeled as 2) under the "Quick Operations" menu (labeled as 1) to create a username for each room.

Description:

"User ID" (3): Can be named as you wish.

"Name" (4): Can be set as the hotel or rental room number.

"QR code card" (5): This is a name used for generating the time- and usage-limited door code. This can be named sequentially based on your needs.

"Validity Period" (6): This is the effective period for the door code. You can set it according to the guest's check-in and check-out dates. For generating the door access QR code, please proceed to step 10.

5.Next, select “Add Device” → “Access Control” → “QR Code Access Controller”.

Description:

Device Name: The model of the equipment our company provides to the client.

Device Location: For ease of management, we recommend filling in the corresponding room number of the hotel or rental property where it is installed.
6.Once added, a configuration code will be generated. Send this code to a mobile phone and use the phone to scan it with the QR code reader on the already installed access control device to complete the configuration.

7.After a successful configuration, you can check the device's status in the “Area Devices” menu under “Device Management”.

Online: Indicates the device is online, the configuration was successful, and it is ready for use.

Offline: Indicates the device is offline and the configuration was not successful. In this state, the newest door codes cannot be sent to the device, which will cause newly generated QR codes to fail to open the door.

8.To add access permissions for each room's personnel, select "Add Access Right" under the "Quick Operations" menu (see image below).

Description:

Add the "User ID" (2) from a specific room to the corresponding QR code access control device, identified by its "Device ID" (3), then click "Save".
9.To generate a time- or usage-limited door code for guests, cleaning staff, etc., navigate to the "Organization" menu, select "User Management" (1), then for the established user like "Temporary customer" (2), click on "More" (3) on the far right, and select "Door Code" (4) from the sub-menu.

10.After clicking, set the "Usage Limit" and "Expiration Time" according to your specific needs.

For a registered customer, you can directly "Download" this QR code and send it via email or an app like WhatsApp to the guest, allowing them to scan it to open the door.

II、Required Hardware (for a single door in a single room):

1、Access Control Power Supply: 1 unit (We recommend purchasing this locally. The Access Control Power Supply should have a relay output, specifically for controlling the Electric Magnetic Lock).

2、Electric Magnetic Lock: 1 unit (Purchase locally based on the door type. An Electric Drop Bolt Lock is recommended for glass doors, while an Electric Magnetic Lock is recommended for wooden, security, or metal doors).

3、Exit Button: 1 unit (We recommend purchasing this locally).

4、QR Code Access Control: 1 unit (To be purchased from Cyberoce).

   5、Network Connection

III.QR Code Access Control Management System Software: 1 set

You can either purchase the installation package for a one-time software buyout or use Cyberoce's SAAS cloud server on an annual subscription basis.

IV.QR code access control device installation and wiring:

You can hire a local low-voltage technician for the installation. The wiring diagram for connecting to a Turnstile and the Access Control Power Supply is as follows: (as shown below)

V.For system integrators or software platform providers with in-house development teams, our company offers API interface protocols for QR code access control systems, supporting HTTP/HTTPS and MQTT protocols. For inquiries, please contact Cyberoce customer service.
