1. Critical link protection: TVS diodes are configured at all power input terminals (such as 12V), with nanosecond response. When an electrostatic shock occurs, they instantly clamp the voltage and block system restarts caused by power fluctuations;
2. High speed communication protection: Low capacitance polymer ESD suppressors are used for high-speed signal lines such as Wi Fi and RS485, releasing electrostatic charges without interfering with signal integrity
3. Physical isolation: All exposed interfaces (exit buttons, door magnets) are equipped with dedicated ESD protection devices to block electrostatic coupling paths, physically cutting off the path of static electricity entering the CPU and preventing abnormal restarts.
The benefits of doing so are: reducing device black screens, crashes, and communication interruptions caused by static electricity, achieving stable reception of commands sent by backend software for QR code access control, and avoiding the fault of "remote door opening failure" caused by static electricity.
4. Filter design: A combination of resistors, magnetic beads, and ground capacitors is used on the key signal line to form a low-pass filter and delay the rising edge of ESD;

5. Grounding and PCB partition design:

B、 The Chassis GND and Digital GND are connected at a single point through a high-voltage capacitor (1nf/2kV), which not only establishes a discharge channel for high-frequency static electricity, but also prevents ground loop interference caused by the grounding loop, enhancing the system signal-to-noise ratio.
The benefits of doing so are: reducing static electricity failures caused by different installation methods, even in complex electromagnetic environments such as industrial sites and data centers, QR code access control devices can still work normally.

After each round of testing fails, we use Failure Analysis (FA) to identify weak points and re optimize the circuit and layout until the product can still function normally under extreme conditions.
